THERESA BRANDT | RIVER CRUISING | THERESA'S TRAVEL
Travel Europe With Me
I've been planning river cruises for travelers like you since 2014. I've visited dozens of ships, sailed countless rivers, and explored ports across Europe.
But some journeys are too special not to share in person.
That's why I host a select few sailings each year where I join you onboard. Think of it as traveling with a friend who knows all the best spots, handles the logistics, and makes sure every detail is taken care of.
No stress. No guesswork. Just you, me, and the magic of Europe.
Below is my upcoming hosted sailing. Space is limited, so I'd encourage you to claim your spot sooner rather than later.
2027 Tulip Time
📅 April 2027 | 🚢 AmaViola |
Starting at $4,529 per person

COUNTRIES: BELGIUM, NETHERLANDS
DUTCH & BELGIAN WATERWAYS
If you've ever seen photos of tulip fields in full bloom and thought "someday"... this is your someday.
Spring in the Netherlands and Belgium is unlike anything else.
Fields stretch to the horizon in waves of red, yellow, pink, and purple.
Windmills turn slowly in the breeze. The air smells like fresh waffles and flowers.
We'll visit Keukenhof Gardens, home to over seven million tulips. I've explored tulip farms in the Netherlands just before peak season, and even then, the fields were stunning. Keukenhof during full bloom? That's going to be extraordinary.
In Kinderdijk, we'll walk among 19 windmills, some dating back to the 18th century. I met one of the millers there last time, and he still lives onsite. It's like stepping into a Dutch history book.
Ghent and Antwerp offer cobblestone charm, world-class chocolates, and vibrant flower markets. Belgium's chocolate isn't just good... it's world-famous for a reason. We'll taste it for ourselves.
This journey speaks to every sense. The colors, the scents, the tastes, the sounds of water lapping against centuries-old dikes.
Whether you love history, flowers, or simply crave the beauty of spring in Europe, this cruise delivers all of it.

2027 Paris & Normandy
📅 November 2027 | 🚢 AmaDante |
Starting at $4,399 per person

COUNTRY: FRANCE
SEINE RIVER
Some journeys stay with you forever. The beaches where heroes landed. The city where art was revolutionized. The river that winds through centuries of French history.
Paris and Normandy together create something extraordinary.
The City of Light sparkles at night. Normandy's coastline stretches for miles. History lives in every cobblestone.
The air smells of fresh croissants and salt sea breeze. The Seine winds past châteaux and cliffs that have stood for centuries.
We'll walk the hallowed grounds of Omaha Beach, where the bravery of Allied forces changed the world. I've stood there myself, looking out at that coastline, and the weight of what happened there is something you carry with you forever.
In Auvers-sur-Oise, we'll follow in Van Gogh's footsteps through the village where he painted more than 70 works in just 70 days. His spirit still lingers in those streets.
Rouen offers medieval streets and the square where Joan of Arc was martyred. Honfleur's harbor inspired generations of artists. And Paris? Paris is Paris—timeless, romantic, unforgettable.
This journey blends art, history, and the soul of France into seven unforgettable days.
Whether you love WWII history, Impressionist art, or simply crave the romance of the Seine, this cruise delivers all of it.

2028 Enticing Douro
📅 April 2028 | 🚢 AmaDouro |
Starting at $4,889 per person

COUNTRIES: SPAIN, PORTUGAL
DOURO RIVER
Vineyards climbing steep hillsides. Small villages tucked into the valley. A river that has shaped Portugal’s wine, history, and daily life for centuries.
The Douro Valley is one of those places you have to see for yourself.
Porto welcomes you with colorful buildings, blue-and-white tilework, and bridges spanning the river. Then the landscape changes as the river narrows and terraced vineyards rise above the water around every bend.
We’ll sail through the heart of Port wine country, visit historic quintas, and enjoy the flavors that make this region so special. In Régua and Pinhão, you’ll see why the Douro is considered one of Europe’s most beautiful wine regions.
We’ll visit Lamego, a lovely Portuguese town known for its ornate staircase leading to the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Remedies. And in Castelo Rodrigo, a small fortified village near the Spanish border, you’ll find stone streets, old walls, and views across the countryside.
We’ll also cross into Spain for a day in Salamanca, a UNESCO-designated city filled with warm golden stone buildings, grand plazas, and centuries of history.
And then there’s Porto... its narrow streets, riverside cafés, and evening light reflecting across the water.
This journey is for anyone who loves beautiful scenery, wonderful food and wine, and a part of Europe that still feels deeply connected to its traditions.
